In the event of a natural or national emergency, the Dutch Joe Ranch is the place to be! The Ranch has the following features that may be of great advantage to you and your family or friends in the event of a disaster:

1. Ranch located a safe distance from urban hazards.
2. The Ranch is off-grid and self-sufficient in its electrical power, using solar, wind and/or alternate energy methods.
3. The Ranch has a supply of wood for heating that will last for a very long time.
4. The Ranch has its own deep-well water supply.
5. The Ranch is developing numerous food sources such as:
• Fish
• Beef
• Chicken & eggs
• Dairy products from cows
• Row crops
• Greenhouse vegetables
6. The Ranch is developing food preservation and storage methods and facilities.
7. The Ranch is developing a teaching program for food preservation and food storage.
8. The Ranch can convert its 75,000 sq. ft. multi-purpose barn to house hundreds of people.
9. The Ranch hopes to attract physicians or nurses who may become Ranchowners.
